It isn't MEAT is it?

He's definitely a yuppie and has those same "pitt-like" looks. HA

No, not Meat. She swears he's hot like Brad Pitt, he sounds super yuppie, owns a yellow lab, is North Face wearing, red wine drinking, F&W guy. guess if it's not an urban legend, than why does he need to marry? sounds hot enough to get all the women he wants and if he's not into the whole daddy thing, no need to marry. If single at 40, I doubt he's into the dad thing. anyway, if someone knows this elusive F&W guy in Missoula, my friend Angie would love a hook up. :D

What am I? I just bought 12 Stabucks coffee/chocolate gift boxes for my staff and delivered them in my Jetta? HA. must be something... yup.

BTW: Briannell I too am F and W guy but sadly not from Missoula. Can't say I would know who that guys is, but he is a little younger than me. Some of my fellow Fish and Wildlife compadres could be somewhat of a loner. Maybe he is a fish biologist. Those guys sniff alot of formaldehyde and stare at algae all day.

Not me, I find the form of a fine woman far too compelling. :D

I am curious as all heck now, because she swears he'd be the best thing to find in your stocking come Christmas morning. :D she's 46 so he's a "young" stud to her, she has labs, and with kids no longer home Angie thinks he'd be the perfect "distraction" from her job as a counselor and Prof. as for me the only thing Missoula has that I would want is off limits  oh and he doesn't wear North Face, cowboy attire is choice over the yuppie look.

Angie is looking to relocate to Missoula probably, heard he likes the Old Post so anyone who frequents it let me know, I'll pass it on to her if F&W man is really the "big catch" she thinks he may be :D

and yes she'd love to have a hunky F&W guy stuff her stocking this Christmas

Affirative Action rules!
Yeah it really helped this mid 20's white male......
Just FMI, what were the other schools besides UM and UW? I think I can formulate a defense here but I need that frame of reference.
WSU, UC-San Francisco, U of Kentucky, U North Carolina, U of Minnesota, U of Michigan

I interviewed at UC SF, UW, UK, and U Michigan
Obviously you were a very qualified candidate. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think UM's Pharm program is kind of like a Boise State football program if you will. They have made the commitment to facilities and trying to build a winner, but they don't have the tradition that those other schools have. When you are in that position, even if you are on the right track, you don't have the luxury of being deliberate in your selections - if you see a student with the stats, you try to snatch them up before they fully show up on the radar of the more established guys. I say props to UM for recognizing and making a quick offer on a qualified candidate.
Who knows. UM, in truth, is a pretty decent pharmacy school. The way I looked at it back then, I was turned off about the lack of formality especially with regards to it being a doctoral program. I chose UW for the greater opportunities that Seattle afforded experience-wise and also the trauma center they have. Washington is also one of the most advanced states in the nation in terms of progressive pharmacy practice. That's what ultimately influenced my decision.

UCSF is the best pharmacy school in the nation. Their tuition was steep for me at the time and living in San Francisco is next to impossible on a student's wage.

Hey, 42 ain't bad. I myself am 47 and can tell you that I'm not dead either.
The older wine may not be as zesty but it does go down smooth and leaves a nice taste in your mouth. A quality buzz all the way around.

She should not back down simply because of his age. 8)

fully agree :D hey if I'm suddenly single and hanging out in Missoula, i'd let him be my "playmate"   very handsome, but 10 year age gap would be hard - darn it! :(

he seems very well educated, well read, well travelled and since Angie only wants a "distraction" with his legs, he'd make a good one

he said he was "intrigued", I told her that was a good compliment, hey much better than "you have the moral fiber i desire in a wife someday" which is a compliment i've actually been given(translation -I'm not getting laid, so we're not dating) good thing i'm already married, or that moral fiber would keep me VERY single

would be nice to be considered "intriguing" by a man, means you still have an air of mystery to you - heck i'm an open book, yep after Brian and I moved in together all mystery was lost. guess once you share a bathroom with someone it's hard to maintain that :D

I'm doubting that all the mystery was "lost" . It's like a new riding saddle, first time on and it is a little stiff, after that the more you ride it the more comfortable it gets. I've discovered that the new and shiny looks good in the store, but when you saddle up, guess which one I like? The one that fits ME... :D :D :D
It always makes the riding far more enjoyable, and hey, I think style is far more technique than bells and whistles.

You being a horse fan and all should understand this.

well, may be the sharing a bathroom didn't "kill" all the mystery, but I tell you after watching me birth a few kids - it's all gone. when your hubby can say "gee honey i know what your insides look like" NO MYSTERY left :D

I think since Angie only wants a "toy" you don't have to worry about mystery  I still laugh because she thinks a younger woman like myself would do better at catching the hot F&W guy. yeah with two kids clinging to my legs a 42 year old with no kids of his own would run away, not run towards :D She has a great shot i think. Besides at least they can have "good conversation" if not sex - doubt he wants to talk about potty training, 4H, PTA, and of course my 6 year olds plans to be the next Mellencamp  good thing Brian doesn't mind those topics :D
Are we still talking about yuppies?

well sort of in a round about way. hot F&W guy is yuppie. Northface, UGG boots, red wine thing - sorry

Well El Grincho-- I do apologize for the technicality. Not that there anything going on of value on any of the boards, nontheless apologies for offending your sensibilities.

Why don't you post something of value and interest so that we don't go astray again?

It holds no smack or interest; I'm not sure it belongs anywhere but it's definitely lost here...

Please, find this thread a new home...

El gato -we were just having fun banter, again sorry to stray off the topic.

so next time a friend of mine is "looking" to "hook up" with a man her age I wont refer to the board. although if catsrback or anyone else knows another hot F&W guy that may work for Angie he can PM me for her info

we should just have a "date a bobcat" section
better than "alumni in right place, but with bad timing section"

hey how about - bad stories of meeting other alumni

I had Larry the L&D nurse here at MAMC, great guy, great nurse, MSU always produces good nurses, but don't want fellow alumni "inducing" your baby bobcat. funny he warned me if i kept whining the way i was "I'd just result in giving birth to a future Grizzly  " Bobcats are supposed to be tougher than that :D

This is still on here? I have to have some sort of smack talk record for longest running thread. Yes it has lost its enitial intent, but nearly 200 posts. I'm flattered.
