Re: Quarters
NDSU throttling the 3 seed at home makes me feel a little bit better about the loss to them. Seems like a roofers t team from earlier this season, much like the Gris.rfischer94 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 3:51 pmI know, right? I don't care who wins between the gris and ndzu. If gris win I hope it's in overtime and they win it by going for 2 after each team has scored a TD.
If ndzu wins I hope they absolutely destroy the gris.
Again I really don't care who wins

One thing's for sure, the 2 most annoying FCS fan bases in the country, on social media, are about to go at it all week long.

Still trying to figure out what the Gris have accomplished in 20 years to have such an arrogant fan see as an online presence.

I don't have to think about that one (who to root for) for even one-millionth of a nano second. I hope NDSU crushes the gris. I just finished my letter to Santa. Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is for someone, anyone, to win the national championship other than those gris douchebags. I hate them more than ever after getting rolled by them this season. If that a*****e team ever wins another game, it will be too fricken' soon.

John K, always the word smith.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
There's nothing a griz win does to help Bobcat Football, in fact with the portal the way it is right now a loss helps get us some even footing.

I'm having a tough time rooting for Idaho as well, should support the Big Sky but I don't like seeing them advance either. That's a team I feel we would have beaten 9 out of 10 times.

I hope the gris get their donkeys kicked inside out next weekend. No way do I want them to win.

I guess I'm in the minority. I've lived in Montana my whole life, and have lots of friends and family on both sides, plus friend's kids who play for both the Cats and griz. I'll always root for Montana kids and the Big Sky over dakota teams. I can't understand hoping that Dakota teams continue to dominate the FCS.

Once the Cats are out, I could really care less. I just want to see good football. If Griz win it all, oh well. We then get a guaranteed home game against the defending champs in our house. I have faith the Cats have a comeback year next year, so whoever wins, wins, and the let’s blast them next year.MT Logger wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 6:01 pmI guess I'm in the minority. Nope. When the DSU’s win it all, I don’t ever remember having to endure constant bashing, poking fun, rubbing it in, from that incredibly arrogant, mouth breathing fan base. Plus it would hurt the MSU program if they win it all. Hope they get thrashed.MT Logger wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 6:01 pmI guess I'm in the minority. NDSU is GONNA SKULL **** the Gizz if they play like they did, their QB can’t throw and our defense finally found its grove
If the line is NDSU -1 -2 or -3. Put your January Mortgage on them

Re: Quarters
I always root for BSC teams, except for the gris of course, but I'm especially in Idaho's corner tonight, because I want to be able to say that all 4 of our losses were to the 4 semi-finalists. I'll bet that's never happened before, and considering the fact that we easily could have won, in fact probably should have won, 3 of the 4, that makes our premature playoff exit a bit easier to swallow for me. I think that pretty much refutes what some Bobcat fans have been saying, i.e. that we really weren't nearly as good as we thought we were this season. We'd be 0-4 against the 4 best teams in the nation, and been painfully close to beating 3 of them. That tells me we were pretty damn good, but unfortunately found some infuriating ways to lose those games. Missed kicks against UI and NDSU, false start penalties on 1st and goal plays and the questionable call that took away a TD at the end of the SDSU game, some questionable play calling in all those games. In a way, I'm not sure if thinking about it in those terms makes me feel better or worse, but it does make me feel confident that if just a few of those things had gone the other way, we could easily be one of the final four again this year, and that we deserve to be considered one of the top 5 teams in the nation, despite losing out in the round of 16.Cats and Dogs wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 5:20 pmI'm having a tough time rooting for Idaho as well, should support the Big Sky but I don't like seeing them advance either. Re: Quarters
Might’ve been the best shot at beating SDSU today. The wind really wreaked havoc on that game and I thought it could go either way. SDSU got its offense going in the second half.
UM seems to have come back down to earth. Ndsu reminds me of UM after UM beat MSU. They played out of their minds today.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).
