However, they will not overmatch us at every position, whether they believe that or not. They do not have a Troy Anderson at QB. They do not have an athlete like Jonsen on their entire roster. They do not have a true frosh RB like we have.

It’s pretty clear that both sides really like their guy and neither side would trade one for the other. Both kids are pretty dang special players. With that said, my dad will still kick all the other dad’s asses out there. The Herd wrote: ↑Fri Nov 30, 2018 11:22 amNot going to get in a pissing match with ya about the two QB's, but you do realize that Anderson only weighs 4 more pounds than Stick correct?BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 10:55 amEaston Stick is a good QB, but he isn't Andersen. case in point, a while ago, we were a top 20 FCS team but did not have a RB that matched a Div. II kid that we played at Chadron State, he went on to a pretty good NFL career.
you are being compared to a top 20 FBS TEAM, not a collection of 1st team all-americans and future NFL pro bowlers at every position
I will say, Stick is a better QB than TA, but TA is a better athlete, and from what I've seen, I haven't seen an athlete like Jonsen on the Bison. There is good reason why Jonsen was offered out of HS by Alabama, Notre Dame, USC, Tennessee, Utah, Arizona, Cal, BYU, Colorado, Fresno State, Maryland, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Penn State, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Washington, and Oregon.
Bison are a much better team, though. big difference

Absolutely, but the way the original poster stated it was like NDSU has nothing close to Anderson or Jonsen.Hawks86 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 30, 2018 11:20 amThe Herd wrote: ↑Fri Nov 30, 2018 11:01 amHow can you refer to us as a top 20 FBS team and then in the same breath state we do not have athletes to match Jonsen or Anderson??FTG_1984 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 7:58 amLet's face it - NDSU is a Top 20 FBS team. Do teams that play Alabama occasionally have a couple players that are considered better?

This, 100%. I don't understand why this is so hard for Bizon fans to understand. Nobody is saying we're a better team, or that we're going to win because of a couple players. In fact I think every poster I've seen has acknowledged the fact that we're probably going to get our asses kicked. That doesn't mean we won' have some extremely talented athletes though. Tomorrow NDSU will get to see what TA, TJ, and Isaiah are all about.JDoub wrote: ↑Fri Nov 30, 2018 11:34 amcause it's true. but he said THEY DO NOT OVERMATCH US AT EVERY POSITION. reading is fundamentalThe Herd wrote: ↑Fri Nov 30, 2018 11:01 amHow can you refer to us as a top 20 FBS team and then in the same breath state we do not have athletes to match Jonsen or Anderson??FTG_1984 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 25, 2018 7:58 amLet's face it - NDSU is a Top 20 FBS team. Re: I’m calling it right now, we beat NDSU in round 2!
My respect for the actual university side of NDSU continues to dwindle with every post from their fans on this board (with, I suppose, a couple exceptions). Apparently "reading comprehension" is neither a prerequisite nor a required class at NDSU. Sheesh, this thread is ridiculous with the whining from the bison fans about how we're apparently not being complimentary enough of their team. If that's what you want, go back to your own board and have a circle jerk about how awesome you are.

I seriously wonder "do they not read these posts, are they just trying to troll, or are they really THAT stupid."
Then I remember all the 'nort dakota' jokes we heard growing up by most adults in Montana, and I tend to lean towards, 'our parents got it right'
