Troy is just scratching the surface IMO. Will be a pro bowler in a few years and talked about as a top LB in the league for years to come.

Overall, they seem like a very optimistic and friendly fan base.

It's probably a good thing that Twitter didn't exist for MSU football fans between 1986 and 2002.mslacatfan wrote: ↑Tue Sep 20, 2022 3:42 pmOverall, they seem like a very optimistic and friendly fan base.![]()

I am going to sound like an old fart, but this is what society has evolved into. People are just mean. Then put a keyboard in front of them with an anonymous ID and that persona becomes even worse.kennethnoisewater wrote: ↑Tue Sep 20, 2022 3:42 pmTwitter is a cess pool unmatched by anything besides egriz.

What Carter says about Troy is awesome.
“I peeked through and saw a flash and thought there he goes!”

The coach also had encouraging words. It won’t be too long before he’s getting more and more plays.

Please take a peek at the last post on page 66. I’m still pissed!
Been living in the Atlanta area for a long time, in casual conversations, I mention Troy and his history. I’ve never gotten a negative reply! Trolls are a microscopic minority!

Nice hat!
We were truly privileged to have him as a Bobcat.
The “ATL” creeps will figure it out one day.
If not, their loss.
He is just a genuinely terrific human being. He stayed when he could have jumped ship. Loyalty.
Semper fi.

This is exactly how I feel and I’m mid thirties. I don’t have Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram for this exact reason. This is as close to social media as I get and I definitely say things I shouldn’t because it’s behind a computer screen.Cataholic wrote: ↑Tue Sep 20, 2022 4:55 pmI am going to sound like an old fart, but this is what society has evolved into. Social media has ruined America and it’s fingers are in everything. Sad part is, if you don’t have a presence on any of the platforms you will get left behind. It’s a circular equation and it is designed to eat itself. You need it to be relevant and then without question it ultimately is what ruins people as well.
If your left, you aren’t right.

It pains me but I won't be able to root for Troy today. Not with him going against my Seahawks. Although maybe this would be the year to do it. Suck for Young? Doesn't quite work like it did for "Suck for Luck" does it?

He played a lot today. And from what I watched, played well.BleedingBLue wrote: ↑Sun Sep 25, 2022 5:45 pm3 solo tackles today. I didn't see the game but great he got some PT.
Some people are a lot like slinkies....... Not really good for much, but it puts a smile on your face to watch them fall down a set of stairs.

I didn’t watch too much of the game but I did watch the 4th qtr and I noticed that he was in the game on the Seahawks final drive, when the game was on the line, so they must have confidence in him.

Re: Troy Freaking Andersen!
Will Dissly got behind Troy on a pass play 1st quarter and scored the Seahawks 1st touchdown. Three receivers on on Troy’s side of the field. TE (Dissly), slot, and WO. Falcons blitzed one LB, Troy and other LB dropped into coverage. CB covered WO who ran a go route, that left Troy to cover both the slot, who ran an out, and Dissly who ran up the middle. DE chose not to disrupt either receiver and went pure rush. Troy correctly chose to cover Dissly and damn near tipped the ball. Touchdown, right in the middle of the triangle formed by the two deep safeties and Troy!

Tough assignment, but Troy will get to the point in the league where he knocks down that ball more often than not - that was a learning experience for him.
When TA first played ILB for the Cats, he took about 4 games to figure out those nuances, he was a half step behind the play consistently. But he figured it out and the game at ILB slowed down for him. Same will happen IMO for him with the Falcons.
