It looks like there's a lot a buzz about the possibility of College Game day coming to Missoula. Nothing is set in stone but there doesn't look to be any FBS that look very appealing.

What if any effect do you think having Game Day at Cat Griz again will have on the result of this year's game?

The Cats are unbeaten when GameDay comes to Cat griz, so it pretty much guarantees a Bobcat victory!

Yeah it has definitely been nice, and it carries over based on what time you purchase so you can even catch some pro games the next day. It's come in clutch this season since I finally ran out of emails to get my Fubo free trials.

I'd guess the same impact that it had in 2022 when Gameday came to Bozeman...zero. It's a lot of fun for fans but on the field the better team on that day will win, just like always.

But sadly the better team does NOT always win... especially in that game. I'm hoping the Cats just show up and do what they know they can and should do in about ten days.

I am extremely confident that MSU has the best team in the Big Sky this year and that they would win most of the time against any BSC opponent were they to play 10 or 100 games on a neutral field, but when you get to play one game in Washington-Grizzly Stadium the result is very much in doubt and can easily go either way. I just don't see College Gameday as having any appreciable effect on the result of that game should ESPN decide to go to Missoula.

Gotchya. I was more commenting on your post about saying the better team will win, just like always. I might have misunderstood, but my point was that the best team doesn't always win. 2021 and 2023 in Missoula come to mind, and last year in Frisco.

Also, what's the drone show all about... does anybody know? I've never really seen one but I've heard they can be spectacular. My son said the one they did at the Tyler Childers concert in WAGRIZ was epic. I'll definitely be going into the stadium early to watch.

just a side note - other than playing in Montana, aren't all other BSC fields neutral when we play there?
