No! not espn2! wahhhhh. now i have to figure out how to watch it...gimme ESPN+Bocephus wrote: ↑Tue Nov 11, 2025 7:26 pmWhich brings up the next topic. With the game being on ESPN2, will it air on ESPN+? Also with the YouTube TV dispute with Disney, might be a good idea to check out your ESPN2 channel subscriptions.

Also what’s the game before it? I hate when we miss a portion of our game because the game prior is going on forever.Montanabob wrote: ↑Tue Nov 11, 2025 7:55 pmNo! not espn2! wahhhhh. now i have to figure out how to watch it...gimme ESPN+Bocephus wrote: ↑Tue Nov 11, 2025 7:26 pmWhich brings up the next topic. That one drives me up a wall if I'm not at the game.... when they show the absolute end of a blowout game and miss the start of ours. Completely idiotic.SparkCat wrote: ↑Tue Nov 11, 2025 8:15 pmAlso what’s the game before it? Isn’t it a law or regulation that they have to show the end of games?catatac wrote: ↑Tue Nov 11, 2025 9:00 pmThat one drives me up a wall if I'm not at the game.... when they show the absolute end of a blowout game and miss the start of ours. Somebody superimposed the Cubs' W Flag into the picture. The Cubs fly it every time they get a win.

Re: Random stuff 2025
The Chicago Cubs fly the "W" flag to signify a victory, a tradition that started in the 1930s to inform people outside the ballpark of the game's outcome. Scoreboard operators at Wrigley Field raise a white flag with a blue "W" after a win and a blue flag with a white "L" after a loss. The tradition began so that residents and those on the elevated 'L' train passing by the stadium could know the result of the game.
Origin: The tradition traces its roots back to the 1930s when the team was owned by the Wrigley family.
Function: After each home game, a flag is hoisted from a masthead on the scoreboard. A white "W" on a blue background means a loss, and a blue "W" on a white background signifies a win.
Modern significance: The phrase "Fly the W" has evolved into a popular catchphrase and a symbol of Cubs victory and celebration for fans around the world. They no longer put up the L on a loss but always FLY the W on a win.

It looks like there's a lot a buzz about the possibility of College Game day coming to Missoula. Nothing is set in stone but there doesn't look to be any FBS that look very appealing.
What if any effect do you think having Game Day at Cat Griz again will have on the result of this year's game?

I'd guess the same impact that it had in 2022 when Gameday came to Bozeman...zero. It's a lot of fun for fans but on the field the better team on that day will win, just like always.SLC_Cat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 12:21 amIt looks like there's a lot a buzz about the possibility of College Game day coming to Missoula.
