The high school helmet display is a really cool idea...one thought...I'd also like to see a wall display with the Bobcat helmets through the years. From the leather days to todays "M" helmet.

Does anyone know if there is an actual plan to replace the video board with a new one above the BAC? I have heard that Learfield and MSU had something in the works but that was last year. It would be great to upgrade to a larger screen that was incorporated better with the BAC but I realize they cost a pretty penny!

Nobody seems to have any answer on this. I've asked this same question a couple times over the past few months. The rumors (at least on BN) were that we were getting a new videoboard with upgraded speaker system in 2022. But since 2022 has started, there has been zero talk about this. I think its a HUGE need.

Not sure if it has impacted our plans, but I saw a report that Daktronics (scoreboard manufacturer) was experiencing supply chain issues.

I heard the Cats were getting a new scoreboard from folks at the Alumni foundation but that was last Summer. I have no clue what the new scoreboard status is now.

Supply Chain issues with electronics and in particular displays is huge. I have 11" displays on order for my latest medical device and it will be over a year to get them in.

I’m glad you put that together AFCAT. I enjoyed viewing your work and seeing all the different helmets from over the decades.

I was going to put one together but then I found that webpage. I spent about six hours clipping photos and then came across that page. Just to be clear, I didn’t put that page together.

If those 11” displays really hit the gym and eat eat eat, they shouldn’t have any trouble adding the 1200” we have to get them to to compete in the Big Sky conference. GTapp might think it’s impossible to add that kind of size in one year, but once they’re in the program, I think they’ll really put on a bunch of good quality inches.

Correction. FINISHED by 5am. Then they have time to save a kitten from a tree, help an elderly lady cross the street, volunteer at a soup kitchen, then make to class by 8am. No other way to be successful, we’ve all learned.

Obviously they'll need to tear down the BAC and put up a new building in its place, I can't see any other possible solution!

I think a far more likely situation is to have yet more small schools consolidated/co-op, resulting in a helmet coming off the wall.
