Unbelievable, I have never seen a QB fumble a spike attempt before!

If the receiver on the previous play gets out of bounds, it’s not an issue.

Also, griz player was holding onto his leg for a solid 2 seconds.

How much did that send up the tuition for the average student from Highwood?
I'm sick of our FCS football being all about money. It all rolls downhill. And, it looks stupid.
And. yes, I'm a veteran. Military appreciation? Give it a rest and stop wasting money.
I’m not going to pretend to know the ins and outs of the athletic department budget. But, I believe football makes money for the university. So, I’m guessing the student from highwood isn’t paying more for the special uniforms.
Even though MSU is way more affordable than pretty much any other state school, especially for in state students, it’s true that college in general is way too expensive these days. I just don’t think any amount of nickel and diming the football budget is going to fix that. There are much bigger forces driving that cost.

Btody's snaps looked really good to me. Any thoughts from folks who know more about football than me?

Colleges do not pay for uniforms; they are provided for free by apparel companies through multi-million dollar contracts. These deals include uniforms, gear, and other equipment in exchange for the advertising and publicity the company receives when athletes wear their products in games and public appearances.Augustus wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 3:54 pmMilitary appreciation?

Apparel contracts: Major apparel companies like Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour pay colleges for the right to be their exclusive outfitter.
In-kind compensation: In return for these contracts, the companies provide all the necessary gear, which can include everything from high-end basketball shoes to team uniforms.
Advertising: The companies' logos are prominently displayed on uniforms and gear, providing them with widespread national advertising and brand exposure.
School's role: The college's athletic department receives all the equipment for free, and in return, they must adhere to the contract's terms, such as not covering up the logos. The school is responsible for ensuring athletes wear the sponsored gear during all team-related activities.
Hope this helps to ease your disdain for what potentially should be viewed as a positive for our university. Also, the players like wearing different uniforms.

They weren't all perfect by any means, but it's hard to argue with the results! Getting better every game.rfischer94 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 6:43 pmBtody's snaps looked really good to me. Any thoughts from folks who know more about football than me?

Thanks for the input. I noticed that they didn't look like rainbows like they did earlier in the season.MSU01 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 6:56 pmThey weren't all perfect by any means, but it's hard to argue with the results! I’m very excited for this stretch run. Davis is a good opponent and the environment is going to be incredible.

They should have lost to UND and EWU, both at home.

Statistically Idaho is playing them well. Refs called back a td for vandals at a key moment. Not sure what for.

Thanks for pointing this out. I was confident it wasn’t coming from tuition dollars but your post was way more informative. Good looking jerseys for a great cause, settle down Augustus!bob12 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 08, 2025 6:53 pmColleges do not pay for uniforms; they are provided for free by apparel companies through multi-million dollar contracts.
