How did Davis almost lose to Portland State?

Larison is a problem. That guy is just a heck of a football player.
I'd heard he was undeserving of 1st team AA.
I’ve never said he wasn’t good. I just said that SH was better. And if you watched any football today this is obvious for anyone that has a brain.

Did we think they were good? Since losing to an awful Weber team they squeaked by NAU playing without their starting QB and then beat the worst two teams in the conference.

But they shut out Northern Colorado two years in a row. The awesomeness of that feat can't be measured.

These announcers really want the griz to be better than they are it seems!

UCDs kicker must be decent. Has made several 40+ yard field goals. Cats should keep them out of FG range as much as possible.

Next week won’t be easy. UCD looks like a pretty good team to me. Larison just does it all for them.
Wagriz absolutely affected this game early on, or this game would be more lopsided.

Will have to be disciplined on defense. UC Davis throws a lot at a team. Game where I wish we had Uliakapa, Schmidt and Valdez back.

Mellot will have to have an effective passing game.

Should be a fun one for Big Sky Championship.

1-0.

If this holds & the Cats can beat the Gris-and the Cats that played today beat the best team the Griz can field-41-14-The gris become a bubble team for the playoffs.

Bubble team in, for sure. But one of the last 4 in probably.

So the griz are really good against really bad teams, but not so good against good teams? A few posters had thought they'd turned things around but based on this game, maybe not?

They weren't even all that good against the bad teams. 24 points against UNC and 68 rush yards against Cal Poly?

The Griz should try a three QB system, it couldn't be any dumber than whatever the hell they're doing now.

Should we be worried that the “best running back duo
In the FCS” put up 29 yards against Davis??!

Post of the day. I laughed when the guy calling the game for ESPN actually said that.

i saw that we put up over 300 yards rushing against the next two teams we face and 150 yards passing. they got no defense to stop us from hanging 40+
defense holds both to under 14 in first half.and under 21 against davis and 17 against the gris.
