Travel to Gold Rush...

Post by RickRund » Thu Sep 05, 2019 4:58 pm

Just got the gameday email regarding tickets. Didn't realize getting to the game had changed so much since 1981... What is the best route to get to the game? Is parking fairly close to the Book Store? We need to get Gold Rush gear...

Which tailgate spots should we frequent..... BN "sponsored" tailgate spots...

And I am driving a big 3/4 truck so hopefully parking is fairly simple.

Thanks...

You can park in the new parking garage (10), that's pretty close to the SUB, we usually park in the lot by the tennis courts (11), it's about halfway between the stadium and the SUB.

Note that Kagy and Grant are closed, we usually come up Wilson and over to the stadium.

If you come up 19, Kagy is still open from 19th to the stadium. There is a nice business park on the right hand side of Kagy traveling toward the stadium. A non-profit manages the parking each game day and keeps the $10 parking admission. It is close to stadium, but it also seems to be the easiest to depart from after the game. I even have a parking pass with my season tickets and still choose the office park.

19th is always slow leaving the games. We park and leave on the other side. Parking in the parking garage would probably be the easiest.

We got to the Bookstore at 10:00 to get all the necessary gear. Found lots of parking at the lot behind the parking structure. The one behind the Norm Abjornson(sp)... Then went to a big X Country meet in Belgrade. Then back a bit early to the Stadium so ended up back at that parking lot...
