Rachac:
Not sure who. According to Choate one was an errant throw in the red zone and a couple other balls bounced off of receivers' facemasks.

This sounds like we're in deeper trouble at WR than QB! Lol.

A general post-scrimmage comment from Jeff Choate:

"I felt it was kind of workmanlike. Nobody was going crazy. It wasn’t too high, it wasn’t too low. I thought it was very appropriate in terms of where we’re at. I’ve kind of felt that way about our entire fall camp, really."

Even considering the defense MSU has it’s bad.

Remember nothing is official till adickto consults with his inside sources. I'm sure he will be imparting his wisdom shortly.

I told you a loooong time ago, Rovig is not “the guy”. Even if he is named starter he will get replaced early in the season. They’ve done all they could to give it to Rovig but he won’t run away with it. Bauman hasn’t done enough to run away with it either otherwise it wouldn’t even be a competition right now. I think if the coaches could still bring in a transfer they would. I stick by my guns, you’re going to end up seeing TA taking a bunch of snaps if not starting.

Sourced or not, none of this seems improbable to me.

I would guess that we are going to see Bauman starting, but with a heavy rotation of Andersen as well. The hope would be that Bauman shows more growth than Rovig did with the experience.

Should be fun. As much as I want him at linebacker, Andersen taking the snap is pretty exciting.

We already know TA is going to take snaps, that's nothing new.

No matter who we have at the helm, the Bobcats will end up with a better record than your Griz. And that's a fact.

This guy may be a complete tool but a broken clock is still correct twice a day.

From Kassis himself:

“Those guys stepped up as leaders, and I was really proud of Casey,” Kassis said. “Especially on that last drive getting things going, getting him in a groove. Going live for him, just getting more opportunities to get more experience, I think that was good for him.”

Wonder who he likes?

If I was betting , I would bet Casey has the edge, our Offense will have more than an adequate passing game this year .
The Defense will be Stout,Stingy,Deep and Disruptive. Special teams will Shine.

Per source: Bauman will be named starter Monday or sooner. He played above expectations today. He completed a higher percentage and his ypa was better than expected. They were hoping someone would complete 50% and be 1:1 ratio touchdowns to interceptions. Bauman met or exceeded everything except TD:Int. But the coaches were okay with that since one interception went off a receivers face.

Per another source: the MSU defense is as good as any I’ve ever seen in the FCS.
