Is Karen Deden her mom? I think Karen played for UW.

Bill isn’t quite as effervescent as he usually is. Perhaps his biorhythms are down today?

Yes, I'm pretty sure Karen did play for UW. She was one of the best girl's basketball players to ever come out of Montana, up there with Shannon Cate and Loree Payne.

No. 2 in rebounds and no. 5 in scoring all-time when she graduated from UW.

Kudos to Binford for landing a couple of recruits with UM/Missoula connections in Beattie and Deden. That's always kind of a bonus. I was surprised that with her family connections, apparently the Griz didn't even recruit her, or at least didn't offer her a schollie?

I think their stem degree is making sure there's no stems in the bowl.

While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

I know Deden is majoring in engineering, so obviously that would have ruled out UM for her. But didn't it say that Beattie is majoring in accounting, and UM obviously has an accounting program.

I always found it interesting that when I got my accounting degree at MSU I was given the option of BS or BA. I knew UM grads and their degree was BA.

That must have been some time ago, today all their degrees are bs.

Is this a smiley face bs or a bs as in degree?

Notice I didn't capitalize the bs, my mother never would have approved of me writing out the full words but when it comes to griz academics it's pretty obvious...
