Re: Borja Fernandez.
With the additions of Borja and Finn Fluete, Danny has successfully brought in two offensively skilled 4's who are 6'7"+. MSU has needed a threat at the 4 position dating back to Huse's tenure. I told ya'll Danny is an experienced recruiter from his time on the West coast and its showing.

Barcelona is a very good program. He'll come in well coached.
Really cool pickup. Hope he works out!

Re: Borja Fernandez.
All of 6'8, incredible ball-handler for his size (pushes the ball up on turnovers), good with either hand when finishing at the rim, + shooter (can stretch the floor by shooting the 3), + effort. This is huge.

As long as we don't lose him to obscure NCAA rule that suddenly applies to good big players committing to MSU.

Re: Borja Fernandez.
Kid is skilled! And he's only 18? How nice would it be to have him for 4 years!
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.

If we are recruiting Barcelona we should've gone after Messi

Re: Borja Fernandez.
Too short for D1 and no evidence he can do anything with his hands.
While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Re: Borja Fernandez.
Too short for D-1!? Have you ever seen a Big Sky basketball game! Now I understand if you said he was too short for ACC or SEC, but Montana State plays in a conference that is considered a low Major D-1. I would guess to say the avg 4 man height in the Big Sky was 6-7 or smaller. League Champion got it done with a 6-7 center and 6-6 4-man. Give the kid a break!

Re: Borja Fernandez.
Easy there mslacat...I think frank was making a sarcastic comment about the post above his about Lionel Messi-who is a slightly more famous athlete under the FC Barcelona brand.mslacat wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 9:37 amToo short for D-1!? I thought the reference to Messi and no evidence he could do anything with his hands was quite clever. lol

Re: Borja Fernandez.
My apology to "mslacat" (I appreciate and value your input here) and anyone who didn't follow what I said due to my failure to make a better connective. I was indeed referring to Messi and am excited to see Borja. Thanks to those who clarified my intentions. I believe we are entering an exciting new phase.

Re: Borja Fernandez.
No need to apologize, I think I over reacted and my friend BelgradeCat slapped me up the head to point that outthefrank1 wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2019 8:13 amMy apology to "mslacat" (I appreciate and value your input here) and anyone who didn't follow what I said due to my failure to make a better connective.
