Re: Dom Brown commits.
I briefly mentioned him, didn't want to get my hopes up tbh.
This kid is a ballhawk. Very, very instinctive. Going in depth, he fits what Washington likes to do with their CB's...which is a lot of pattern match cover 3. I think he can handle that, question is going to be his hips. Will need to learn how to press well. With his long arms, he has the potential to really jam up a WR, question is just his hips and recovery speed.
If he doesn't make it at CB, he'll be a dynamite deep safety.

I married an Oxnard girl. Kid's probably tough. I know she is. You guys have done well with Ventura county players in the past. I think he is same high school as Tiai Salanoa. Wife went to rival high school Channel Islands High.

I also think that this might be due to Ioane being back. If I am not mistaken, isn't this the territory he recruited when he was here before? This kid might have been a borderline guy for the Huskies, but a solid player at this level.

I loved watching his hudl video and the play that I think speaks volumes, he stuffs the WR at the line, knocks him off his feet, then tackles the QB who is forced to scramble. Lot's of hustle, great size, and a nose to hit. Great to have him as a Bobcat!
