Watching EWU's QB makes me miss Chris Murray
Kind of been thinking the same thing. He is just a soph too
Barriere throws it a lot better than Chris, but nobody is better running the ball than Chris.
Imagine if Murray got 2.5 years to refine his skills before starting...

Loved that play design on the 2pt for Davis.

I’d say TA is better than Chris at running the ball!

I think EWU would have a big time shot at taking down NDSU if Grubrud wasn't out.
I dont think anyone touches NDSU this year, including EWU, with or without Gubrud. I think this is their best team yet. They scored 35 points against a Colgate defense that had allowed only 7 PPG, only 5 PPG against FCS opponents, and have outscored their 2 playoff opponents by a combined 87-10. I think SDSU is the 2nd best team in the country, and the only one that has even a remote chance to beat them. They were the only team to come within 2 scores of them this season, and have traditionally played them tougher than anyone over the years, including FBS teams. But I'm gonna predict that NDSU handles them fairly easily next week, winning by at least 14. They would be a middle of the pack team in either the Big 10 or Big 12. EWU-Maine should be a very good game. Their game against UCD today was amazing. I really hope they make it to chipper, even if they get rolled by NDSU if they get there.

Troy might have more straight speed, and he can run thru you too. But Murray can make you miss in a phone booth, and has great speed as well. Both are pretty good runners...

I agree. And props to EWU for making the semifinals after losing their starting QB for the season. How many other teams in the country could pull that off? Not many.
And how good of a team do you have if you can start a linebacker at QB and still make the playoffs
