NAIA Women's Basketball Tourney in Billings

Post by Rich K » Wed Mar 14, 2018 4:14 pm

Billings is hosting for the second year of a 3 year agreement. (After year one they opted for the 3rd year).
Western Montana was the first Frontier team to play and they got a win. 66-54 over Dillard of Louisiana.

Two Bignell girls are playing for Western.

I think Billings is a great place for this tournament, and I wouldn't be surprised if they bid for more NAIA tourneys in the future.

When did they change their name? And wondering the reason?

Carroll College women are playing at 8 pm tonight. Thought that might be of interesting because there is no other basketball game of importance at that time tonight.

Didn't realize it was a Catholic University.

Wow, I love the stats system that the NAIA is using. Even a graphical shot chart!

Five games in six days for the championship pair. That's an endurance test.
