Enrollment figures out for fall 2017

Post by TomCat88 » Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:17 pm

MSU is pushing 17,000 when you include Gallatin College. Even without GC enrollment is over 16,000.

MSU - 14 team National Champions (most recent 2011); 52 individual National Champions (most recent 2017).

MSU/UM Freshman class comparison this year. Eye popping stats.

UM/MSU

Total new FR 1292/3263
resident FR 767/1633
nonresident FR369/1446
WUE FR 146/184

Total enrollment: 10,092/16,703

Pretty obvious who the flagship is.

This is a slightly less drastic image of the enrollment disparity between MSU and um.

uofm thinks they are the flagship football program.
MONTANA STATE knows they are the flagship academic program. More than any stat/issue the contrasting enrollments are what I love. Nothing I have seen or heard has shown this will change. Wondering at what point their enrollment may level out? Where is their stopping point?
I guess this comes down to a very good University President/leadership at all points.
Great news MSU!!!!!

The non-trade school enrollment is MSU 16,069, UM 9,799. A difference of 6,270.
