Reaction, opinions to Colin Kaepernick's national anthem protest begin
So are quite a few of us but I don't think we fail to stand for three Flag or the Anthem.

Kapernick unhappy with the country.
As far as professional athletes go, Kaepernick is probably one of the last that the general public should be looking to for an example. His conduct during his short career has been anything but professional. He certainly has every right to do what he did, but he has absolutely no credibility in the delivery of his intended message.

He can do what he wants. I also have the right to think he is a punk.FTG06' wrote:As far as professional athletes go, Kaepernick is probably one of the last that the general public should be looking to for an example. Re: Kapernick unhappy with the country.
I have too much going on to worry about what a crappy 2nd string QB for a crappy NFL team does during the national anthem. Punk move, but doesn't impact my daily life one iota.

Re: Kapernick unhappy with the country.
I find it awfully hypocritical for a guy making over a million dollars per GAME to disrespect the national anthem of the country that allows him to do so.
Like Allcat said, he has the right to disrespect the anthem, and I have the right to think he's just a hypocritical punk.
His comments about white cops just kill black people and then go on paid leave, were disgusting and he should apologize for that. It really shows how ignorant he is.

Re: Kapernick unhappy with the country.
Statement from the San Fran Police:
http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/san ... id=U305DHPThe SFPOA beleives Kaepernick “embarrassed himself, the 49ers organization, and the NFL based on a false narrative and misinformation that lacks any factual basis.” Halloran invited the 28-year-old quarterback and any other NFL employee to visit the San Francisco Police Department Academy and take part in any of the simulations recruits participate in during their training.
“Not only does he show an incredible lack of knowledge regarding our profession and ‘officer involved’ shootings, but also shows a naivety and total lack of sensitivity towards police officers,” the letter continued.
“Perhaps Mr. Kaepernick could comment on the murder of 40 police officers in the United States in the past few months, or the assaults perpetrated on over 100,000 law enforcement officers in the past year. Perhaps he could lend his commentary to the over 8,000 murders that African Americans inflicted on one another in 2015. The law enforcement community cannot be continuosly blamed for all of society’s problems, including racial divide, in our country. It isn’t fair and it isn’t true.”

Saw,a tweet from kaepernick's Mom and I am guessing things may be tense at Thanksgiving, Christmas, ETC.
It had to be tough on her to write the tweet.

She gave him up for adoption at birth and I don't think they have ever really talked let alone spent Thanksgiving or Christmas together.RickRund wrote:Saw,a tweet from kaepernick's Mom and I am guessing things may be tense at Thanksgiving, Christmas, ETC.

Nice article by a former green beret who also was in the NFL briefly.

Kaepernick's latest stunt is to wear socks with pig-faced cops on them. Anybody still defending this guy???

He's a self absorbed punk and always has been.
Eric Curry STILL makes me sad.
