Latest UBL Video

Post by '93HonoluluCat » Fri Oct 29, 2004 7:39 pm

It never occurred to us that the commander in chief of the country (Bush) would leave 50,000 citizens in the two towers to face those horrors alone ... because he thought listening to a child discussing her goats was more important,
-from a tape reportedly by UBL
Just goes to show, you get a little nutty when you spend too much time living in a cave.

Al Jazeera has just played a tape of UBL that refers to a recent event in Iraq. It was authenticated by "the government," though I'm not sure what agency. The tape lists a litany of complaints about the Bush Administration and highlights the motivation behind September 11.
The Bush Administration resembles a corrupt Arab government.
Bush is misleading Americans.
September 11 would have been less severe if George Bush had been more alert
Has he been in contact with Joe Lockhart? What odd statements.

MSNBC said that bin Laden references John Kerry in the tape.

It looks like an endorsement for Kerry, which can be interpreted several ways.

I don't have access to a TV right now--did bin Laden voice any displeasure with Bush's support of the Federal Marriage Amendment? Because if he did, I think we definitely need to check Lockhart's satellite phone records. As it is, I'm suspicious:
In addition, the infidel George Bush is outsourcing America's future with tax cuts to the wealthy. Where are the 1.6 million jobs? The infidel Bush is the first infidel since the infidel Herbert Hoover to lose jobs! Awake from your slumber, America! The infidel John Kerry has a plan. You can do better, Insha'Allah!
Are you infidels aware that the infidel John Kerry killed infidels in a war of imperialist infidel aggression in Southeast Asia?
The infidel Mary Cheney is a lesbian.
Pardon the humorous "quotes", but I just don't think the video in itself is a big deal.

It definitely is interesting, if the tape is real, that OBL would be "criticizing" Bush. Is he using reverse psychology to play into the Republican's campaign plan, by overtly saying that, yes, OBL does indeed want Kerry elected, so therefore we must re-elect Bush! For a man whose most sadistic wet dream is a religious WWIII between Christians/Jews vs. Islam, does this mean he thinks Bush is the man to give him that war?

Or, instead, is he playing some reverse reverse psychology, and actually does want Kerry elected because he thinks that Kerry would be soft on terrorism, and being a terrorist, he thinks Kerry would be good for his business?

Both sides will spin it their way, of course. I just hope that a-hole has zero impact on this election. It would be a shame if anything he had to say swayed even one vote.

And then this from Drudge. Are we sure that Cronkite is still sane?
CRONKITE: KARL ROVE BEHIND BIN LADEN TAPE
Sat Oct 30 2004 16:31:19 ET

Former CBSNEWS anchorman Walter Cronkite believes Bush adviser Karl Rove is possibly behind the new Bin Laden tape.

Cronkite made the startling comments late Friday during an interview on CNN.

Cronkite said he is "inclined to think that Karl Rove, the political manager at the White House, who is a very clever man, he probably set up bin Laden to this thing."

Interviewer Larry King did not ask Cronkite to elaborate on the provocative election eve accusation.

Developing...
Walter...need to lay off the 'shrooms, dude.

Should we be bothered because Osama seems to have gotten a helping hand with his propaganda from Michael Moore?

Documentary makers, like journalists, are a vital part of a free society's feedback mechanism. Should journalists or filmmakers refrain from criticising the administration because the country's enemies might pick up on it for propaganda purposes? Hell no.

The problem is that Michael Moore has provided Osama with propaganda composed of gross exaggeration, artful misdirection and cheap shots. A healthy society allows for that, as the price of our liberal principles. But just because we don't want to ban it doesn't mean that we should laud it. Michael Moore made a movie that's fundamentally dishonest in order to score political points, and in doing so, he has helped the cause of his country's enemies. We know that he isn't ashamed; he has no shame. But his fellow citizens should be outraged.

The fact that terrorist organizations' dislike of Bush supposedly drives recruitment should not sway your vote if you think he is the best choice to lead our country, although the Dems would like it to......that's pretty faulty logic in my book--we shouldn't let any foreign entity's potential reaction to our elections affect our choice.

I suppose people like velo figure Kerry will kiss osama's ass enough that he & his psycho followers will immediately love America and leave us alone?

On second thought, maybe that is PRECISELY what will happen after Kerry and the Dems turn this country into a Socialist wasteland. After the Frenchman, the ambulance chaser, Teddy K. and the rest of the radical left get done with US, there'll be no reason to hate us anymore. Most civilized countries will pity us...

Well, if Kerry got close enough to OBL to kiss his ass, he would be assured of doing more physical harm to him that we've managed so far (it turns out that he's not in Iraq). Maybe Kerry could at least give him an ass hickey -- that would show him.
