We are almost through being hammered by the storms

The Tahoe area will be measuring in the double digits at the higher elevations. I 80 has been closed for a couple of days. Most other roads at closed more than open. Even the ski areas are closed from too much snow/safety issues. Power outages aplenty.
We are 50 miles north of Truckee and we have picked up over 3 feet of snow and not even sure how much rain. But it will snow heavy then rain heavy and repeat again.
The last snow/water survey was just before the storm hit and was at 85%. Hard to say what the numbers will be at the next survey.
Roads are washed out everywhere. Mudslides are numerous.
We were without power two days ago for about 6 hours through the middle of the night. That same evening it went off at 8:20 and was off for 21 hours. We had bought a generator early last year and it really came in handy. Used it for about 10 hours yesterday for our fridge and our gas freestanding fireplace. Darn good investment.
Not sure when it will stop but the worst is over.
