Trump's Twitter

Postby CelticCat on Thu Jun 29, 2017 1:25 pm

This is an honest question, if we can try an answer without your political bias, do you think it is okay for the President of the United States to Tweet things like this?

Not sure what you mean by "okay".

Do I think it's crude? Absolutely.
Do I think it's professional? Of course not.
Do I think it makes him look like an idiot? Yes I do.
Do I think he should be impeached for it? No I don't.

He was just as crude before the election as he is now, and he won.

Summed up my thoughts exactly. I wish he would stay off twitter and work on fixing our government, healthcare, economy etc.

CC, let me ask you an honest questing about your loaded question.
What do you think should happen to Trump for tweeeting that?

Nothing should happen. He has every right to say what he wants. He will receive backlash from the public and the media, and he doesn't care, because he will also receive support from his supporters.

I didn't mean to phrase is in any sort of loaded way, I was just curious what people thought of his most recent Twitter "war", for lack of a better word. There is no positive way to phrase it in my opinion.

Now for my personal opinion: he would be much easier to support across the aisle if he could just refrain from these childish, Twitter name calling outbursts. I'll take in one step further and say that I find it embarrassing. But no, nothing should happen to him,

I agree with all of that. I wish he would shut his yap, and his Twitter account, and act more professional. It would look better to the world, and like you point out, might buy him some clout with Dems.

He will never get ANYTHING from the Dems. We all know that. As far as him being filterless... I can relate to that.

I like it, its nice to finally have a person hold these idiot talking heads accountable for the crude and hateful ****** they spew when the GOP is in control. If they dont like it maybe they shouldnt do it?

It's been his immature Twitter posts that have turned me off the most!!
