As good of a game it was you hate to see it end like that. Stupid foul by that gris player. Completely unnecessary.

Very gritty win. Great job ladies.

Heard the announcers say the gris haven't won in Bozeman since 2014. Wow. Way to protect home court!

Good effort all around by the Cats especially after falling behind by 14 in the first quarter and coming ack for the win. Sure hope Limardo isn't hurt badly.

Can't make up my mind as to which is better - 55-21 or 48-14.

Key to the game was the help outs on Gfeller down low in the second half. She was unstoppable one on one.

Didn’t look like she hit her head. Looked more like a whiplash. It was a foul, but I didn’t think it was overtly or intentionally violent. Just an awkward fall.
This is correct. As someone who played, in that situation you are trying to stop the clock. It wasn’t malicious or dirty. However the intentional/flagrant was warranted.

Great win ladies! Foul at the end by the gris player on Limardo was a little over the top and not necessary. Hoping nothing to severe and she recovers quickly.

It certainly looked dirty to me. There is no reason that no. 13 had to foul KJ that hard. All she had to do was grab her. Instead, she wrapped one arm around her neck and shoulders and pretty much threw her to the ground with her momentum. May not have been intentional, but it was totally unnecessary.

Disappointed no well wishes for KJ on any of the UM social media accounts.

If i was the Gris coach i would have sat #13 after that. No reason for her to be in there after that, with only 12 seconds to play.

This game is going to be quite a challenge. Will there be more pregame injury surprises where the Cats will have even less than 9 players available? Or will someone(s) from the decimated sophomore class be cleared to play. Sophomores with unknown injury status, Brumfield, Dykstra & Philip. Sophomores out for the season, Olson & Hein. It will be interesting to see what the infirmary at the end of the bench looks like today. The freshman are really going to need to step up today and some of them have their best games to date.
Will the Missoula fanboy reporters even mention the Bobcat injuries?
No. Thanks for reminding me to hook the radio sync into my speakers!
Ugh, I was wondering what contest in hell we won to have to listen to Krista Redpath for an entire game.......

I think becoming a hockey dad is hardening me. I actually expected one of our girls to deck the Griz girl once play resumed.

100% agree. This wasn’t in the slightest bit dirty. It’s a hard foul, nothing more. Could it have warranted a flagrant, possibly. But I’m still in the camp of a hard foul.
The thing that makes it look more serious than it is (and 100% has to do with KJ being carted off the court due to injury) is the fact that she weighs about 65 pounds and could get blown away on a normal windy day in Livingston. There is zero muscle mass on the frame to protect or support her from a fall.
Nonetheless it’s a scary moment and you’re obviously hoping for the best. Injury bug is really starting to nip at their
heels

Nice win!

The foul did not seem that bad, yes it was a bit of a hard foul, but it was just kind of a “freak” injury. Hope she is ok!

Their defense, grit, and senior leaders won this 10th straight game over the gris. I’m hoping the cart was used strictly as a precautionary measure for Limardo.

Really scary. KJ gets knocked to floor a lot and always bounces up. She’s tougher than she looks and has been one of our most durable players. Her parents were there which is a blessing. Imagine watching your kid get carted off and you’re a 1000 miles away. Thinking of them and KJ right now.
