Eleven of their players entered the transfer portal after the season, after they finished 2018/19 11-21 (6-10 in WAC play).

Well at 5'8" he's an inch taller than Spud Webb so there's that. I'm thinking he must be a jitterbug with ball handling skills and an eye for the open man to assist.
I saw in his bio that his dad played some football here for the Cats.
Welcome Xavier!

Will he be required to sit out one year before he is eligible?

This is not a “settle for” recruit for Coach Sprinkle. It is one he is genuinely excited about. That pumps me up. GO CATS!!!

He doesn't appear to be a graduate transfer, so in order to play immediately I believe there would need to be a waiver granted by the NCAA for extenuating circumstances of some kind. There have been proposals to change the rules so that players can be eligible immediately when transferring after a coaching change (which happened at UMKC), but I can't find anything that says this rule has been adopted yet.

Interesting signing. Frey is best with the ball in his hands and you add a senior transfer, that at 5'8, I assume runs the point. If Bishop has to sit a year, then it makes sense as he can take over the point when Frey is gone. If he's eligible right away, it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

I am fascinated that there is nothing public from MSU yet on this.

He sounds like a grad transfer.

He does have to sit out. Makes more sense because Harry will be gone.
