Just curious to see which way everyone is leaning at this point in the coaching search. Let me know in the poll!

Re: Coaching Poll
McCollum is an adaptive, successful HC.

Re: Coaching Poll
I am really really surprised that Shaw only has 1 vote so far. I would honestly be OK with Sprinkle, Shaw, or McCollum.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Re: Coaching Poll
I was with you, I thought he had the most impressive resume of the candidates, I remember reading something this weekend that said he withdrew his name is why I didn't vote for him.

Re: Coaching Poll
I got this from someone in the coaching ranks. I feel confident about the info, but it technically rumor so I could be wrong.homeytennis wrote: ↑Mon Apr 01, 2019 10:42 pmI looked at the WSU board and there was nothing there about Shaw.

Re: Coaching Poll
Shaw does have a great resume, but having a little more youthful coach is more appealing to me personally (I would guess he is close to 60).
He is still listed as the head coach on Western Oregon's website.

Re: Coaching Poll
If people like Shaw, how about Ben McCollum? The dude's overall head coaching record is 241–75 (.763) with 2 DII national championships at the age of 37 years. I like Danny, but this dude has a legit resume.
2× NCAA Division II national championships (2017, 2019)
7× MIAA regular season championships (2012, 2014–2019)
4× MIAA Tournament championships (2016–2019)

Re: Coaching Poll
Good point, if you slash all of those accomplishments in half and he only brings 1 national championship, 3 BSC season championships and 2 BSC tournament championships over the next 10 years I would probably be happy with that....The Butcher wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:08 amIf people like Shaw, how about Ben McCollum? Re: Coaching Poll
Is that with some redickerous bonuses for making the championship game twice in 3 years?? Otherwise I don't understand how a D2 school can afford that much.Colter_Nuanez wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 11:43 amI hear Ben McCollum makes more than $300,000 year...RobertCats wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 9:58 amGood point, if you slash all of those accomplishments in half and he only brings 1 national championship, 3 BSC season championships and 2 BSC tournament championships over the next 10 years I would probably be happy with that....The Butcher wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:08 amIf people like Shaw, how about Ben McCollum?
