We break down our All-BIg Sky team compared to the league's teams. Cat fans may love us for our thoughts on Frey and hate us for our placement of Hall.

I'll take your question as though it's serious----
It's not exactly a shock that a defensive specialist would not qualify for an All-League team. This year's DPOY, Jonah Radebaugh, was selected to the honorable mention group, which is a way of saying he was considered, but not included in the All-Big Sky teams. When Radebaugh won the award two seasons before (Oguine won last year), he did not make an All-Big Sky team. For me, Moorehead didn't contribute enough on the offensive end to be considered for any of my three All-Big Sky teams, but that doesn't mean he isn't the best one-on-one defender. It's the nature of a specialist award---it would be feasible for a "Best Shooter" award to exist and for the winner of the "Best Shooter" to not make an all-league team.
Another way of saying this is both Radebaugh and Moorehead are drains on their team's offenses. They play because of their elite defense, and if not for their elite defense, neither would likely see the floor, which is why it was easy for me to have neither of those players make any of my three listed teams.

My question absolutely was serious. How do you say that someone is THE BEST DEFENDER in the conference but not one of the top 15 players. That's saying defense doesn't mean $hit and offense is all that matters. Radenbaugh averages almost 10 points and over 6 rebounds a game. I would say that constitutes contributing on offense. Moorehead contributes 5 and 5 which I would hardly call a drain.
