As mentioned above a week or so ago the Bobcat men will take on Eastern Oregon (NAIA) in a secret scrimmage tomorrow (Oct. 23). Eastern Oregon is already in the state of Montana as they take on Carroll college tonight in an official NAIA game. Eastern already has 5 games and 5 wins under their belt for an official 2-0 record (I can not figure out which were official and which were exhibition games). As a result, we could know how our team matches up with a better caliber NAIA school, but probably won't. The supposed rules concerning these so called Secret Scrimmages, is that fans and media are not allowed and no record of the results are allowed to be published. Those rules were strictly followed when these scrimmages first started 5-6 years ago but not so much anymore. Already this season I have seen 3-4 box scores from different Secret Scrimmages posted on Twitter and Instagram. Usually these are fans sites posting pictures of the Box score, so the info is getting out. I am betting we will not get the results of the Bobcat secret scrimmage (unless it comes from Eastern Oregon) but I bet the Griz vrs Wash. St. later this week, will trickle out.

This secret Scrimmage comes 1 week exactly before the Bobcat first public game on October 30 vrs Western Montana
