https://twitter.com/BigSkyMBB/status/979892516920217602 Good job Bears. It's not the NCAA or even the NIT, but winning a post season tournament is not something that happens to a Big Sky school very often.
How long will they hold on to their coach? Has Colorado State hired anyone yet?

Not yet. Congratulations to the administration in Greely for assembling such a coaching staff. Plus, how in the world have they managed to get the women's teams coaches there?

Colorado State hired Niko Medved last week: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Niko_Medved

Northern Colorado women's head coach is Kamie Ethridge. She was the point guard on Texas' 1986 national championship team before leading the United States to the 1988 gold medal at the summer olympics. The two-time All-American is a member of the women's basketball Hall of Fame.

After serving as a grad assistant under Jody Conradt at Texas and as an assistant for Jim Foster from 1991-1996, Etheridge joined Deb Patterson's staff at Kansas State when the fellow Vanderbilt was hired as the head coach. She served as the assistant head coach to Patterson from 1996 until 2014 as K-State made it to the NCAA Tournament nine times and won the Big XII twice. Patterson and Etheridge led the Wildcats to the second round of the NCAA Tournament six times, the Sweet 16 once and the Final Four of the WNIT three times, including winning the WNIT in 2006.

After Patterson's tenure ended at KSU, the duo reversed roles. Etheridge took the Northern Colorado job and three years later, earned Big Sky Coach of the Year awards by leading the Bears to their first NCAA Tournament in school history.
