WBB 2018
Very sad to hear that we are losing Laura Pranger. I have wondered if, with all three of the transfers coming in that pretty much play the same positions, some players might be feeling a bit squeezed. Good luck, Laura — but there goes one of my favorite new players. She had a bright future here, I think.
This quote from Coach Binford in the Chronicle article might have been a foreshadowing.

Binford said newcomers didn’t adjust well to handling academics and day-to-day life, which translated to error-filled sessions.

Re: WBB 2018
I watched her play all year and to me she was an exceptionally good player for a freshman.
She had good height and for a tall player was a very good shooter from the 3 point line.
There is no way that I could ever believe that she was somehow "afraid" of competing with any other
players for playing time.
This is a big loss to the Lady Cats as far as I am concerned, ESPECIALLY since she had three years left!

Re: WBB 2018
Dang.... was hoping to watch her the next three years and help lead the Lady Cats back to the title. She kept getting stronger as the season went along, as did the other freshmen, and would have been a key contributor in the coming years.
Best of luck to Laura... wishing your success wherever you go.
BTW... this prompted me to look up Annika Lai to see if she was going to play again at her new home in Colorado. I found mention of her as an Undergraduate Assistant in Chemical Engineering at the University of Colorado but didn't see her listed as associated with the BB program there. Maybe someone knows otherwise.
