WBB vs. Sac State

Post by aucat » Fri Feb 09, 2018 10:59 am

Well, Kola Bad Bear can't get here fast enough!

What the heck is going on with the Lady Cats??

They looked terrible at home against UNC. Now this.

Earlier this season I thought that Sac State was on of the worst teams I had even seen come into
Worthington Arena. They were a mere shell of the old Sac State run and gun teams.

WHen we played them here on Jan. 13 we beat them 85-50!!!!!!! By 35 points!!!!!

So in three weeks did Sac State suddenly get that much better? Or did MSU get that much worse??

Sac State had only 1 win in the Big Sky.

Last night for most of the game they led us by 20 points! I think they had something like 30 points off of
our 20 something turnovers.

What is going on? There is way, way too much talent on the Lady Cat roster, and even Laura Pranger was back
on the court last night after missing several games.

I just don't get it.

I hope our ladies are not sick, but that would at least explain things.

That's the only plausible explanation I can think of. If it's anything like the stuff I've had the last 10 days, doing anything remotely athletic-and doing it well, would be nearly impossible.

Is it illegal for coaches to require flu shots? I realize they won't stop it 100%, but its worth saving a player or two from it.

The flu shot is nearly worthless, especially for a 20 some year old athlete.

I think we got a bit spoiled after last years's season.
Our expectations went up after the pre-conference games, but we are probably near what expectations were before the season started. Am I wrong on this assessment?

The future is still bright for the women's b-ball team.
