Bobcats win! 68-64. One of the better non-conference road wins in the Fish era. Milwaukee in the Horizon League is a good outfit.

Wow! Hard-fought. Never let up at all. Harald Frey was superb in the 2nd half. A nice treat to have an ESPN3 production and picture. Very enjoyable afternoon.

When Blevins and Bonton figure out how to finish layups in traffic and through contact this team will take another giant leap forward.

Milwaukee beat Iowa State on the road early in the year, then lost at home to D-II Concordia St. Paul in their next game. Basketball is weird, but this is really nice to get that first true road win of the year. Gotta have a few of these good non-conference wins if MSU wants to make the postseason this year.BelgradeBobcat wrote:Bobcats win! 68-64. One of the better non-conference road wins in the Fish era. Very nice win. A few like that will give these guys a ton of confidence, which is maybe one of the only things they're missing. Another chance Wednesday against CMU, then a good non conference test against a UCSB team that i believe beat Montana earlier. This win can't hurt, good job men!

Nice string of highlights from Milwaukee. They didn't just show their highlights, ours are on there too.

Thanks for posting. I would really encourage MSU to include a link on the schedule page with highlights for each game. This would be a nice enhancement.BelgradeBobcat wrote:Nice string of highlights from Milwaukee. They didn't just show their highlights, ours are on there too.

Another nice Tyler Hall article. He had a lot of friends and family at the Milwaukee game.

Re: MBB at Milwaukee
An interesting stat from this game. We actually shot more free throws than our opponent-on the road! Has that ever happened in the Fish era? Did this team turn a corner defensively? Or do they just call the games differently in the Midwest? Check out the video I posted at 1:40. Neumann bumps the guy a little bit with his body. In the Big Sky and certainly whenever we're playing a MWC team that's a foul and a potential 3 point play every single time. In the Horizon League it's nothing, just keep playing.

I sincerely hope you're not possibly implying officials in our conference, the MWC, WCC or Pac 10 are biased and impact the final score...and the rest of the country allows contact...BelgradeBobcat wrote:An interesting stat from this game.
