We have an early lead and Tyler Hall is hitting pretty well. It can be fun when we play a team that doesn't know us. They've let Hall get loose a few times.

Tyler Hall 34 points today and Mayan Division Tourney MVP. Imagine what he could have done on two legs. Harald Frey also on the all-tourney team. Hey-they bring home a trophy-not too shabby.
Bonton hits all his free throws down the stretch. He may not start, but he'll be on the floor at the end, and I wouldn't be surprised if he replaces Klines in the starting lineup soon. Not because Klines did anything wrong. Bonton is just really good.

Couple thoughts. First, i agree with mslacat and others upthread, Bonton is going to be fun to watch this year and beyond. Plays fearless, has a good stroke, and is our best guard off the dribble, IMO. Makes a freshman mistake sometimes, but he'll be better as time goes that way. Second, we are really good in stretches, but still looking for a bit of consistency. If we can develop some in the next month, i think we'll be right in the mix in conference. Hopefully we can be top 4, and get a bye past the game we'd normally lose in the tourney! Long way to go before then, but our secondary pieces are as good as they've been for awhile.
