Why would any high school recruit want to subject themselves to that style of coaching when there are so many other options available? Kids today (especially stars) have a sense of entitlement. I am not suggesting that he bow down to all of their wishes, but a level of professionalism should be expected.
I was going to chime in with something similar. Kids today don't necessarily respond to being called out and yelled at. They need to be motivated and incentivized in different ways. I don't know if that's the case with the MSU players, maybe Fish knows exactly what he's doing. I'm not sure a guy like Bob Knight could come along as a young coach and succeed in today's environment coaching like that.
