I think Dison deserved honorable mention. He had a nice year-even if the team did not.

Wondering the same thing. Both EWU and Sac finished right about where they were predicted to finish. EWU was picked 2nd and 3rd in the two polls, Sac 4th in both. The Griz were picked 5th and 8th in the preseason polls, down one scholarship, lost their starting PG to transfer, lost a starter early in the season, only returned 1 full time starter, won 6 of their last 7 games (while Sac lost 4 of their last 7), played the 25th toughest non-conference schedule and took 1st place in conference. Apparently greatly exceeding expectations like that just wasn't good enough for a first year coach.

Bah... Doesn't really matter too much of course but it is a bit mind boggling.

Also wanted to say congrats to Colbert! Agree also on Dison deserving honorable mention. He had a very good year.
