On Saturday, the Montana State men's basketball team will host their first-ever alumni game. Roger Craft, who led MSU to the inaugural Big Sky title in 1963, and Stu Starner, who led MSU to one of its three NCAA tournament bids ever in 1986, will coach the teams. That was a good listen. Just another example of the excitement starting to build around bobcat basketball.

It sounds like Fish is embracing MSU Basketball tradition with Starner and Craft in the same way that Ash has embraced Sonny Holland and Bobcat football tradition.

After listening to the Podcast I could not help be transported back to what I consider to be the heyday of Montana State basketball once I heard Coach Starner speak. I tell you what if that guy had gone into selling Lamborghinis for a living he would have been a billionaire. Smartest thing Fish did was to schedule this game.
