Again, great effort on defense and on the boards, and finally a decent shooting night from the floor. BJ was huge again in the first half. Navarre was again consistent. Mbunga controlled the paint yet again, with 3 of our 7 blocks. Everyone that played contributed. These guys need to have a light supper and then hit the sack, get a good night's rest, and play tomorrow as well as they have the past 2 games.

We were down 16-6 at 12:05 in the first half and went ahead 57-42 with 5:05 to play. So we outscored them 51-26 in 27 minutes through the meat of the game.

WSU was 4 of 26 on 3-pointers and two of those came in the last 30 seconds.

All it takes is one or two guys hitting outside shots. Brandon Johnson stepped up and did it! Let's hope he can keep it going tomorrow night-and next season!

That's for sure. Johnson was the player of the game. He hit two of his threes after were down 16-6. We went on a 10-2 run and he had two 3s to make it 18-16 and a ball game.

You get an autobid to the NIT if that's any consolation right now. Tough luck. We know the feeling. (2002)

Funny how a little confidence can go a long way. Good win. The jam by Bynum was unbelievable. The game was over after that in my opinion. A few wins at the right time can ease a lot of heartache from a tough season. You guys are still very, very young.

You said it. I gave up on this team-I admit it. I'm glad they didn't give up on themselves. My hat is off to them.

That's a great point, and for our league an NIT win would be a huge deal. I'm sure Weber will bounce back and represent well. Hopefully they'll get a home game.
