BSC MBB Championship Game Time Changed

Post by GOKATS » Sun Mar 08, 2009 9:46 pm

The championship game time has been changed at the request of ESPN and a list of tv coverage for Tues. and Wed.
Big Sky Men’s Championship Game

Changed to 8:30 p.m. Start

Per a request by ESPN2, Wednesday night’s 2009 America First Credit Union Big Sky Conference men’s basketball championship game has been pushed back to 8:30 p.m. Mountain, 30 minutes later than previously scheduled.

ESPN2 requested the change to accommodate coverage of the World Baseball Classic earlier in the afternoon.

Wednesday’s Big Sky Championship will be played at the Dee Events Center in Ogden, Utah, and televised nationally on ESPN2, which is available in more than 89 million households.

Semifinal action begins Tuesday at the Dee Events Center at 5 p.m. Mountain with No. 2 seed Portland State taking on No. 4 seed. Idaho State. At 7:30 p.m., No. 1 seed Weber State battles No. 6 seed Montana State.

Tuesday’s games will air live on Altitude2, which is available on DirecTV channel 682 and Dish Network Channel 453. Those in areas outside of Altitude’s 10-state regional territory will need to have the sports packages to see the game.

Comcast Sports Net Northwest will air the first semifinal game live, and the second game tape delay at 11 p.m. Viewers in Spokane, Wash., can see the game live on Comcast through the digital preferred tier on channel 179.

Also, several alternate cables channels in Montana, Colorado and Wyoming will televise Altitude’s coverage live.
