MBB: Boise tonight

Post by mslacat » Mon Nov 24, 2008 2:20 pm

The men's basketball team takes on former Big Sky member Boise State in Boise, tonight. Tune in it should be a very good game. I know the broncos were embarrassed by losing to us last year and there maybe a little revenge on their mind. The Bronco's are 1 -1 so far being beat last week by Seana and then taking Idaho State into double over time Saturday. Boise is in a little bit of a rebuilding mode, but do not lose very very tough at home. This is a winnable game, but it will not be easy.

On another note: I have been watching our RPI a little bit during this very young season, and we started the season at 311 (out of about 330). Over the past week it has ranged from low as 205 and as high as 70. Maybe I need to wait for a few more games.

I'll be there.
An island of blue and gold, in a sea of orange.

Well, maybe not a sea....I just walked through the BSU campus and it is empty....must be out on Thanksgiving break.

GO CATS

BSU BBall doesn't draw real well. Last time we played there, I swear there was as much blue/gold scattered through the empty bleachers as there where blue/orange. Take away the BSU band and the student section, and I think we would be the home team  You'll see what I mean.

I'll look for you, enjoy the game with the BSU fans. :D

Boise is actually 2-1, you missed the win over the powerhouse that is Pacific. This would be a big win for the Cats. With 3 of our first 4 on the road against Big XII, WAC, and Pac 10 schools I would be happy with a 2-2 start. A win tonight would put us in position to possible be 3-1.

If you get a chance hit Buster's, it's on Broadway not far from campus. Nice sports bar with good bar food and great scenery.

HC95, after the game stop and see if Humpin' Hannah's is still open too. Sweetgrass could use a beer there. Recommend that he buy.

GO CATS! Beat BSU!

We need to not allow a run to end this first half. We are down 30-26 after playing pretty well so far. Let's finish the half on a run of our own.

Solid ending to a hard fought first half. Fitting that we are tied at 32 with one half to go. Let's finish it Cats.

Cats need a little more 'D'- stop Noonan, etc. Down 8 but a lotta game to go.

Yikes - the wheels are quickly coming off in the second half. Outscored 14-5 so far and getting beat at every turn. We better stop this and turn the tide or it is going to be over soon.

Doesn't look like we have fixed our FT issues yet.
