Fisher Brown may now be in line for major conference offers. He was just named MVP at a very prestigious camp and will be participating in the Iverson Classic.

Fischer is transferring for his senior year.

Wow. Kid has done everything needed to get noticed from Montana and it still was not enough.

The competition he faces is not enough. Wasatch Academy Faces top teams from throughout the country. He likely won't be the biggest fish any more. i think it is a very wise move especially if he gets playing time.

I agree. It is just unfortunate that top in state talent can’t get enough exposure to draw the attention of big schools.

Of note though, the AAU Idaho Select team that features top kids from Idaho and Montana has been turning heads. One of their players just committed to USC. They are competing well nationally and their underclass pipeline is strong. It is only AAU ball though and not a high school team.

He played Select 2022 summer played for another team this year and seemed like did a lot of camps this year. What are we missing if others are getting offers and he has not posted any.

The biggest knock I can see is his weight. He needs to put on some muscle. If he is 30 pounds heavier, he would probably have multiple offers. I say 30 because he is 6’5” and listed at only 150 lbs.

Didn’t Danny Sprinkle play with his dad? I can’t imagine that Danny hasn’t offered him, especially with his recent success. Maybe Fischer is not posting his offers on social media?

Not sure but would have been close. I agree on weight especially if he had to play a 3, and quickness if playing a 2. Both on defensive end.

Looks like Justin was a freshman when Danny was a senior.

I'm stoked to see such talent seriously considering us. The new coaching staff knows how to win and how to share that vision with new recruits.

Jaden Steppe took an unofficial visit to MSU last month. Hopefully, he will take an official in the coming weeks. He has/had over 11 offers. Some of those that did not make the short list were Montana, Weber St, and Portland State

I think this will be a big weekend for having basketball recruits in. While I have not heard yet who may be coming but I would be very surprised if we did not have 2 or 3 in for the home football game. BTW Texas recruit Trap Johnson who took an official visit during the Gold Rush game is a recruit to keep an eye on. Logie visited his high school this week, and most likely an in-home visit. Johnson visited Longwood last weekend and is said to be making his choice by the end of the month (September)

None! About the only tidbits I can pass along is that of the three recruits that I know about (and there most likely has been more than that) two have committed elsewhere. Only Trap Johnson is still uncommitted..... as far as I know.

You are right, mslacat. I see that Jaden Steppe and Darnez Slater committed to Colorado State.

You can also add point guard Layne Taylor to the list kind of. He was scheduled for an official visit for the Gold Rush game but1-2 days before the trip he committed to North Texas.
