In every loss (other than NDSU as he didn't play), Davis was a bright spot. Highest graded player against the Griz with a big day against their run defense (and I've already laid out how nearly none of those yards were in garbage time). Almost willed us to a victory against Idaho. One of the most effective runners against SDSU all year. Keep him healthy!

37 carries for 248 yards vs SDSU, Idaho UM. 6.7 per carry.
MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

@VimSince03 - I really think Davis is one of those types of RBs where he just gets better as the game goes on, and with each carry. It's hard for a coach to manage, because we have such a deep RB corps, and you want to spread those carries out to share the wealth and keep guys healthy. But I really think he is one of those dudes who needs 15-20 carries a game.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 09, 2024 5:48 pmIn every loss (other than NDSU as he didn't play), Davis was a bright spot. I keep waiting for us to add a few more portal transfers. Definitely think some competition at some spots would be beneficial.
Another 55-21 win in November would be pretty awesome to see as well.

Damn close! And yet, the Cats were still watching it all. Give me a loss in the chipper over not being in it all day long...feel better now?

The gris were in the chipper?? I don't follow them or their crappy website unlike all the weird gris fans who stalk bobcat nation nonstop. Did the gris win? I'm guessing....no?GoGriz1023 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 10:46 pmDamn close! And yet, the Cats were still watching it all. As a journalism school, you would think they would have had some alumni write an article or two.Dbrewmsu wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 11:07 pmThe gris were in the chipper?? Re: What are you excited to see in 2024?
I actually figured the Gris would score one early and one in garbage time with the B Rabbits D in. That’s where the 14 pts came from in my mind. Their O has sucked all year. My wife and I watched the game at a local sports
Bar…. We were the only Cat fans there…which I knew we would be. I made a statement with our Gris friends at
Our table about their ****** Offense all year, she said excuse me our ****** offense? Needless to say I pointed out the obvious to her, in a polite friendly way of course. Fans that don’t understand actual football and want to talk smack… annoy me…

Re: What are you excited to see in 2024?
I've been thinking on this one for awhile.
1. Im excited to see what the two new coordinators can do and what/if anything changes. If 2024 is the year this program has been building for, two brand new coordinators add an interesting twist.
2. Im excited to see who QB2 is next year. Will it be Reed or Wilson? I think this team will go as far is QB2 can take them. I hope that Tommy can go through the season with no injury(s) but history says thats unlikely.
3. Do we have a horse in the LBing crew that is good enough to be the rock of the defense? Without looking it up, It seems like the championship teams from the DSU's have had a LB anchoring their defenses that got drafted.
4. Very excited for the new videoboard and even more excited to be able to hear what is being played on the board.
5. Excited to (hopefully) see the new indoor facility.
6. Most of all, excited to share another season of Bobcat football with my family and friends.
