I still don't understand Idaho State getting votes, they beat a DII and Portland State

Re: Stats poll
I am a voter in the STATS poll and Craig encourages us to run his release. It's accredited as press release.
Also, messed up the headline in the first one. First time since 2014. Montana and Montana State have both been in the top 10

Re: Stats poll
Polls are kind of fun, but picking a top 25 for the FCS is like picking the 51st through 75th place teams in FBS. Or even the 16th through 40th. The teams are very unknown (the voters know so little about teams outside their own conference compared to the voters in the AP/Coaches polls) and erratic (Davis only loses to FBS top 25 Cal, then barely beats San Diego, then gives NDSU a good game on the road, then gets blown away at home by Montana) with just a couple exceptions and even those can go south in a hurry.
It is fun to try to figure out who the best teams are, but when you can't even figure out who the tops teams are in your own conference it's hard to expect anyone to be able to do it for the entire nation.
The coaches/media picked:
EWU
Davis
Weber
UM/MSU
NAU
ISU
Idaho
Poly
PSU
SAC/SUU
No. Colo.
Right now (based STATS poll with Big Sky preseason rank in parenthesis):
1. Weber (3)
2. MSU(4/5)
3. UM (4/5)
4. Davis (2)
5. EWU (1)
6. SAC (11/12)
7. ISU (7)
8. Poly (9)
Big Sky No. 6 NAU is at best 9th. No. 13 No. Colo. beat No. 8 Idaho. No. 8 Idaho beat No. 1 EWU.
I haven't done an in-depth comparison in any of the P5 conferences, but just from looking around I can see that none of them are this far off.

MSU - 15 team National Champions (most recent 2021); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Not if you make your living in zoo town.
While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

Or maybe hashtags for all the football programs you list in the article byline, not just #GrizFB.

Re: Stats poll
You can really tell the bias when you overhear them talking about MSU football when they don't realize others can hear them. You can also tell when the N. brothers speak publicly about UM weaknesses as its always in a positive light and they will make corrections and improve. When it comes to MSU weaknesses, they laugh, shake their head and really like to emphasize the negatives. If they want me and others to believe there is no bias, there needs to be no bias. Fools gold and a lot of you are buying...
