Norfolk State HC Latrell Scott says our front 7 is as good as they've seen this year, including ODU and Coastal Carolina.

I think their server might only be able to handle 1 person at a time. It's not used to the tremendous rush of 2 or 3 people on the website at the SAME time!

Thanks for the link. Not much of an interview, in my opinion. Loved how he opened the call up for questions and nobody called in. Surely, somebody down there had some questions about a trip to Montana.... guess not.

The big sky quite doing the teleconferences 2 years ago, I used to listen to them and it wasn't uncommon to not have any questions other than the host for some teams

If I had some free time I would edit these guys so they are on the bridge of star destroyer, or in Paris or something.

Call me crazy, but I think da Cats are winning this game by four scores.

Let’s be honest there’s a have and have nots in college football. There’s the power five and group of five. There’s Alabama and Clemson and the rest.

The Big Sky, Missouri valley, and CAA are the big conferences of the FCS. NDSU, SDSU, Eastern Washington James Madison are the power teams. The MEAC is a group of five of the FCS and Montana State is on the rise in the power 3 if you will. This game should not be close.

Norfolk is a good team but theoretically we should win this going away. This weekend we find out if we are a good team or a top team in the nation. This is a #winnig game because the conference schedule is going to tough and any week can be a lose going forward

The one thing that might help us is the altitude. It showed with the last home game against SEMO.

Its a factor, but I don't believe that it is as big as you might think, I am basing this off my own experience having guiding hunters that come from near sea level.

The affects at 4000 ft (noticeable) are not as big as at 5000 ft (minor limit to performance) and not near as much as above 6000 ft (major limiting performance). The other thing is how long has the person been at that altitude, in the first 24-36 hours while they may notice some shortness of breath during exertion, the effects of altitude are far less in someone's performance that is in shape, usually on the second day it really hits them and they start to struggle, by the 4th to 5th day they have adapted pretty well, the more in shape they are the quicker they adapt.

If they come in on Friday afternoon and are young players in top physical shape they will have little problems at 4800 ft. on Saturday afternoon

It was always fun to get someone that was a marathon runner and on the second day take them on a hunt from 6000-7000 feet. They couldn't understand how a old guy like me carrying probably 40 extra pounds could walk them into the ground, they usually got even at the end of the week when they had adapted to the elevation.
