Week 3 already and I'm starting to get nostalgic already for this season! ha

Okay, to get down to it, we have a road game and we suck at road games......BUT, this is #WinBig year and I guess it's time to change that stigma!

Lot's has been said about how hard it is to "travel" to WIU...but doesn't it sound a wee bit like, "it's always hot in Texas...or um has a loud crowd...and Suck St. has a high school field...... etc etc etc."???

To me, that's code for, "we might not win" IF we travel. For sure we have to win at home, but if we are going to achieve anything, anything at all in not only the conference but in the playoffs, we BETTER shut up and play hard and win!

I think we will, but it won't be easy because it's football and the ball doesn't always bounce our way. I am thinking we will continue to struggle with a Freshman QB who has a laser arm without a lot of touch on the ball...but who is a proper QB and can get the ball where it needs to be. That said, he will continue to improve and we will improve just enough to win by 2-3 scores.

I believe " I(no N)fanse" will play as always, but we'll see more Hosey and Jones, and KT II, in the backfield, and of course more Troy!

Watch for better again LB play from Troy, more QB pressure from the D Line...and turnovers for the Cats D.

Great test today for the Cats. Can they play to their top potential on the road? That would be a sign of maturity within the program. If MSU and WIU are who they appear to be, the Cats ought to win comfortably.

Choate coached teams alway improve as the season progresses. Under Ash, that wasn't always the case. We would start strong and finish with a whimper.

Given the weapons we have and barring major injuries, I expect to see us with a first round bye in the playoffs.
