Don't hold your breath if you are expecting news about the QB. I'm not sure what Choate will say, but neither Rovig nor Bauman had great days. Maybe Bauman a little better. Actually Beltran and Thelan had a pretty good showing on their 1 series apiece.

Throws, especially short ones were behind players and sometimes too high....and they were intercepted at least 3 times be cause of it.

Ifanse had a great scrimmage, 3 td's!

Choate's quote below is very interesting to me. That is very high praise and makes me think this team is going to be something special. Either that or Choate is over hyping how solid they are, which I doubt.

"They are playing pro football right now. There is no school, there’s no jobs. That’s what these guys are and I think they’ve handled it like that.”

I think he means that football is currently their only responsibility-- as opposed to meaning that they're playing at a pro level.

He just means that since there is no school and no summer jobs right now, the team is basically "professional" football players. Ie, that's all they're doing for a living this time of year. It doesn't necessarily mean they are playing at a "pro" level.

Did any starters or key players sit out?

Troy was non contact, Hill was on limited reps. It’s all in the presser.

Coach Choate has definitely expressed his confidence in this years team by the way that he seems to enjoy the pressers. His communication is at times giddy as evidenced in this video and that does not happen because he's heading out to a BBQ after the scrimmage. It's clear, he's confident in this years team from top to bottom!

From what Kassis was saying, it sounds like Coach Choate really empowers his players and puts it on their backs to be successful. This is a good approach in business and in sports....makes people accountable for their own success or failure.

We've got a good one in Coach Choate...I'm excited to see this team perform this season!!
