Very surprised he isn’t garnering more interest. I counted 10 sacks, three blocked passes and five TFL. A blocked kick. Very powerful player.

That, and I would think a player would first have to commit to said program prior to decommiting from the program.

Valdez is a good wrestler. He and Blake Schmidt were both on the MV varsity team. Schmidt was ranked #1 in their region at 285 and qualified for state. He lost to the guy that took third. 24 wrestlers qualify for state in each division in California.

Colter was saying in one of his podcasts that San Diego is kinda a forgotten area for recruitment. It’s also difficult finding information about Monte Vista players. Very little media coverage. Or if there is, it doesn’t make its way to the net. Strange deal.
