I assume that’s a knock on coach T. If so, not cool. Let’s show some class to josh and his family.

Josh is an excellent coach and recruiter. If you are trying to say he was "let go", think the opposite of that. Again, Josh and his family were put through a lot the past few months and he's walking away from coaching this year because of it. Choate 100% did NOT want to lose Josh.

Potter will be coaching tight ends. He was the OL coach at an NAIA school last season.

Re: New OL coach
The article in the Chronicle was confusing. Please remind me why did Coach Choate move Coach T from the Offensive Line to the Tight Ends? Is Coach Armstrong the current Offensive Line coach? Given his qualifications, shouldn't new Coach Potter be the Offensive Line Coach? Any thoughts on Coach McGee becoming the new Recruiting Coordinator?

Best of luck to Josh and his family. He is a great coach and a great guy. Hope this new guy can do the same thing that Josh did and help us continue to get better.

He ‘panicked’ before leaving Boise State football. Now he’s thriving in new sport at NNU.

Re: New OL coach
I can think of several things more detrimental than assistant coaches leaving.
Injuries, replacing graduated starters, grades, mischief/crime, poor leadership, starting players retiring (Coe) or transferring (Prukop).
It’s a lot easier to replace an assistant coach than it is to fix any of the above issues. With Choate there’s a real good chance he’ll find someone equal or better. Players I’ve gotten info from say MSU has a great coaching staff.
