Re: 2002 Highlights (Oldy but Goody)
so awesome!
man, that defense was just RIDICULOUS! roger cooper, Jon Montoya, adam cordeiro, joey Thomas, kane ioane… just to name a few.... those were some bad dudes!
arguably the best LB, best safety, and best CB ever to wear a bobcat uniform... all on the same team.
I still feel bad that Roger Cooper was unable to get a shot in the NFL. he had a handful of injuries derail his chances right at the end of his career. He was an NFL caliber LB all the way though. Its like if you put Mac Bignell in a 6'3'' 235 pound body. guy was an animal.

Man...Jon Montoya and Adam Cordeiro were just wrecking balls. And I remember how well our defense played against the #1 team in the nation, McNeese State.

McNeese lost in the Chiper to Western Kentucky. Still that was a great defense.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 2:38 pmMan...Jon Montoya and Adam Cordeiro were just wrecking balls. I'm hoping Sterk turns out like Adam, he was a freak even when we were growing up... Huge and fast.VimSince03 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 2:38 pmMan...Jon Montoya and Adam Cordeiro were just wrecking balls. And I remember how well our defense played against the #1 team in the nation, McNeese State.

Looks like Adams had both feet down vs. ISU. Ref didn’t make bobbled signal, so I’m not sure how he missed that call.

Re: 2002 Highlights (Oldy but Goody)
Cordeiro won the Class B State 100 meters as a junior In high school. And he ended up as a defensive lineman at 265 lbs running a 4.6 forty and the strongest guy on the team. Crazy. I will never understand why he did not play in the NFL.luckyirishguy25 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 4:28 pmI'm hoping Sterk turns out like Adam, he was a freak even when we were growing up... Re: 2002 Highlights (Oldy but Goody)
If I recall, Cordeiro was only 6-1 or 6-2, and NFL teams overvalue height on the defensive line.

Re: 2002 Highlights (Oldy but Goody)
Ok, so I swore someone posted a YouTube video on here for the 2003 MSU/NAU game. Complete game, like 2 hours 59 minutes long. Saw it and really wanted to re-watch it for old times sake but haven't found the time until now. Did I dream that or was it actually posted?

Re: 2002 Highlights (Oldy but Goody)
Those back-to-back Big Sky Champ teams in 02' and 03' were awesome. I can still remember (vaguely) at the Mo Club in 2002 after the Cats won; it was great! I was in college then and those years were great! Thanks for sharing. Can someone share the Cat-Griz "mud game" in Bozeman in 05'?
