Come on, leave the liberal arts comments to the school of dance. MSU produces technical majors and leaders.

He’s already sitting on offers from Rice and San Diego State. We probably won’t get him, but at least we’re aiming high.

We're up against EWU for this kid. Hopefully we can beat them out!

I’m trying to not read too much into this, but has anyone else noticed these guys are only tweeting their offer and there hasn’t been a commitment yet? I know it’s early, but I would have thought with all the offers being thrown out that at least one person would commit.

I don't think they have to decide until February. I suppose they can commit if they want, but most wait until they have several offers to see if their dream team comes through. Isn't that correct?

Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same thing -- that offers are the social media equivalent of lots of followers and they want to showboat a little. Out of the bunch, I figured there might be one or two who would feel thrilled to get an offer from MSU, accept right away, and feel relieved to put the grind of the recruiting process in the rearview mirror.

No one will commit until December

Just go look at the page above at last years offers. You have to go pretty deep before finding a player that was offered and actually signed.

We've actually had more offers sent out the past three years up until this point (Mid May). This year has been slow in my opinion and likely because the roster is now full of Choate recruits. Anyway, the first "commits" don't start coming in until June at the earliest and usually those are Montana kids. Out of state offers are usually kids that get offered by a bunch of schools so they usually are waiting on that FBS offer after the summer camp circuit. It's been the same every year.
