His dad is a 1990 West High grad who went on to play TE for the griz for a couple years before retiring for medical reasons. I know Rylan really wanted to play for the griz but apparently they weren’t showing any interest. At least now he’ll be part of a winning team.

Welcome to MSU! I see he listed at Ath/QB. Good talent, size and speed for WR or SS.

Based off his recruitment photo, he will be starting out at safety.

Good to pick up a kid out of the swamp in western MT. I've got a good feeling about this kid . This recruit will likely serve as a statement against Coach Hack & his recruiters.

Ortt is ranked 7th in the nation in the javelin at 203-2. He’s improved by about 10 this year. Record is 213-4.

You'd think hauck would have a soft spot for that. Wasn't the javelin his thing instead of football? I hope the kid goes on to jam in in haucks *** every year at cat/griz.

Re: Rylan Ortt commits
Oddly enough he tied with Evan Todd of Glacier with the exact same distance down to the inch. It's fun to watch a javelin fly that far!
