In case anyone is wondering why Smith is a 3-star with only 17 catches it’s probably because Kennedale doesn’t throw much. QB only completed 35 passes out of 69 attempts. They ran it four times for every one pass.

Flovin was listed as a sophomore last year at Foothill so I assume will be a junior.

Mclovin this pickup

Did not play as a freshman at Holy Cross then 1 year JC so he should have 3 years left.

Looking like a very solid class. 15 listed here so far, 2 that we didn’t really know about.
Assuming Jaden Smith sends his in this afternoon and add in Amandre Williams, that makes 17 in the early period.

I’m anticipating 20-22 or so total in this class, so it’s gives the coaches about a month and a half to hit it hard on a few more guys, maybe a couple transfers to make some instant impact.

I like it!

Keep in mind, there are a handful of PWO's announced today. With the remaining scholarships and PWO's I'd expect another 10-15 athletes announced between now and the February signing date.

Our RB room is stocked.

Have to imagine somebody there transfers.
Currently 8 on the roster including TA.
Tucker and Jones will be seniors.
Natee may be done? no confirmation. It would be great if he gets healthy.
Everyone else is a freshman or redshirt freshman.
We will need a Logan Jones type of replacement at RB and KO returns.
I am a believer you need 8 healthy on the roster at all times spread throughout your classes.

Need another bruiser that we missed this year as well as need to know who steps up as an H or tight end.

Hopefully Burgess gets completely healthy and stays that way. He has a tremendous upside but hasn't found his stride yet.
Nice run against NDSU but resulted in a fumble. Showed flashes early on in the kick return game, but seemed shy at point of contact slowing on his cuts.(Once again, maybe will find his stride there.)
Barkley could play at RB as well. Don't remember seeing him in the return game, but I missed a few games this year.

True, but I’d be surprised if the Cats have a 25-30+ kid recruiting class in Choates 4th year, seems kind of big.
There are 10-12 seniors, there will be some natural attrition to kids that medically retire or just don’t want to play anymore, but that might be a handful of kids.

Does anyone know how many seniors there will be on the 2019 team? I know that we had 10-12 this last season, but it seems like we have been a younger team the last few years. Just wondering.

According to the MSUbobcats.com roster, it’ll be 19 seniors next year.

Including PWO's and transfers, I think 25-30 is a pretty realistic number.
