Choate talked a little bit about Murray in this presser too. Mentioned something about he knew he had applied for readmission but how he does during this upcoming semester is what determines his academic standing with the University. So I take it he will still be considered academically ineligible until he brings his GPA up with the spring semester? Does that mean he can't rejoin the team until the summer?
I’ll find out tomorrow if someone doesn’t beat me to it.

I don't know specifics, but it's way easier to be admitted to MSU as a transfer student than it is to be NCAA eligible. MSU doesn't care about progress toward a degree, where NCAA does.

One thing Choate said that I think may be crucial is the fact that mid year transfers are very difficult for schools on semesters. This means that transfers we want to compete in the spring almost have to sign in the early period.

My sources did well last year. Last year the locks were Sulser, Askelson and Turner. Turner didn’t see the field from what I saw. Sulser made several big plays. Askelson made the big blocked punt vs Word. He only played in four games and has a Daly/Bignell look to him.

A few of the solids got some time. Sumner, Graves, Janacaro.

A tweener has dropped from FBS to NAIA.
Could you produce that list again for reference Tom? I'd like to archive it in some way. Thanks in advance!
I’ve broken players into three groups. 1. Locks; 2. Solids; 3. A chances. Here’s the locks, I’ll have the rest of them out in the next few days.

Locks - Sulser, Askelson and Turner.

Choate mentioned in his press conference about possibly having one more signee this week. Whoever that person is, his signing would have to come out tomorrow or wait until February. I saw Tyler Knoop has his Cats offer pinned to his twitter page. I wonder if he is the guy. Any other ideas?

would any additional recruits have until the end of the day today? or is there a specific time/deadline, like noon or something?

Very mature, seasoned player. Leader. Knows how to go about his business (focused). He’ll probably contribute right away.

Everything I’ve read about him screams character. Was there ever a BOOM thread for Flovin?

Strange, I thought once these guys signed the dotted line they commit themselves to the school? Maybe he was a walk on so had more flexibility?

Yes, he was a walk-on.
Confirmed intent to attend by signing admissions acceptance

Huh. Good luck to him, but why sign in the early period if you're still keeping your options open?
